About Sakura

Originally from Chicago, Sakura has been working in the cosmetic industry as a clinical esthetician since 2002. After seeing a rise in chronic skin conditions, Sakura felt she could assist her clients by helping them to release emotional blockages and trauma patterns, which in turn would help heal their skin. To this end, she studied hypnotherapy at Bastyr University under Mary Lee Labay PhD in 2013 and added hypnotherapy as well as other metaphysical modalities to her practice. 

She currently owns and practices at Sakura Skin & Mind in a remote area of Redmond, WA, which is a hybrid business combining metaphysical modalities like NLP, EFT, SRT, Reiki, Mediumship and Hypnotherapy with clinical skin care. Her mission is to treat the inside while treating the outside. 

In December of 2015, Sakura was diagnosed with a rare life threatening auto immune disorder called Pemphigus Vulgaris which ironically presents itself on the skin. In the summer of 2017, Sakura experienced a flare which nearly claimed her life. But with the help of both Eastern and Western Medicine along with dietary changes, hypnotherapy and strong support from her clients, friends, and family, Sakura was able to pull through. She not only cleared so much inflammation out of her body, she also found her will to want to live her life again and essentially healed herself.

She took the method and mindset she used to help heal herself and put it into a process she started calling LOVE FROM THE HYP.  She used this process with her clients to not only help them find true love again, but also to help them overcome rare illnesses, emotional blocks, ailments, or any mental or physical pain by loving themselves again. 

She decided she wanted to reach more people with her message of inspiring others to not only help themselves but also love themselves again. So on July 11, 2018 she launched her first radio show with Seattle’s 1150 AM KKNW and called it “Love From The Hyp”.  Her radio show spotlights amazing souls from around the world, their journey, and their healing wisdom and insight, in hopes of providing a resource for others who are suffering mentally, spiritually, emotionally, or physically. She opens up the phone lines to offer free guidance and advice, and shares weekly skin tips too. She may also feature a guest she has hypnotized in her clinic so that they may share what they learned from being hypnotized and how it has helped them shift their life into a better place. 

Her radio show, her skin & mind clinic, and her mission are to bring life to all those that have lost hope, to all those who have given up, in hopes of making this world a better place by making each of us want to be better people & truly want to live again!
